CCLC celebrates 55 years assisting refugees coming to Canada and settling in London. The organizers of the event created a video featuring people who played a role in CCLC’s evolution. Don Simpson, a founder of CCLC in the 1960s, shared fascinating stories of international travel related to supporting people in various countries. There were many phases that the organization went through before becoming the important institution it is today.
CCLC made a special announcement that there is a campaign launching to build affordable housing in downtown London specifically to support newcomers. Stay tuned for more details on how the public can support this important cause.
