Monica is an executive coach, mediator and trainer with over 15 years of experience. She has worked with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and industries: national, international, private, public and not-for-profit.
She has lived and worked in 8 countries on 4 continents, and is fluent in Italian and conversant in German.
Recently, Monica assisted in managing her family’s business – a manufacturer of industrial refrigeration systems – until it was sold. In addition, she was an auditor with Coopers and Lybrand (now PwC), a Financial Analyst with Rogers Cable Systems, both in Canada, and has lectured at various educational institutions abroad.
Monica has a degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University. She is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and a Certified Management Accountant in Ontario, Canada. In addition, Monica holds a diploma in International Studies from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, Austria.
The mediation and coaching techniques practiced by Monica are influenced by a wide variety of mentors and teachings. Included in these are her training in Co-Active Coaching with the Coaches Training Institute, Non-violent Communication with Marshall Rosenberg in Switzerland, as well as advanced negotiation and mediation skills with Erica Fox and Kenneth Cloke at the Harvard Negotiation Insight Initiative – a part of the Program on Negotiation at the Harvard Law School Dispute Resolution Program.
Monica’s specialty is leadership, guiding people as they develop a clear vision of their goals and create the plans and strategies necessary to live the life they desire. From diplomats, politicians and civil servants, to CEO’s, artists and musicians, Monica has touched many lives and influenced numerous careers as a coach and trainer.
