Gregory Bell joins TAC as our newest Coach & Facilitator, based in the GTA.
Gregory Bell began his career in the mailroom at Scarborough Utilities. He eventually was promoted to the domestic billing department, then on to the supervisor of domestic billing. Gregory and his new family relocated from the Toronto area to Central Ontario, where he became a furniture sales representative. Then, later accepted an opportunity to become the Sales Manager in Barrie and Orillia, Ontario.
Gregory returned to school, obtaining diplomas as a Pharmacy Technician and Social Service Worker at Seneca College in Toronto. He became a Residential Counselor at Transitional and Supportive Housing Services of York Region (now known as Blue Door Shelter). They support individuals struggling with homelessness, addictions and mental health challenges. Then, furthering his education, he attained a BA in Psychology. Next, he worked as a Mental Health Case Manager, Life Skills Coordinator, Frontline Supervisor and Supervisor of Health Navigation Services.
Greg was the Site Manager for one of Canada’s largest shelters, before joining TAC, tasked with overseeing refugees and newcomers to Canada making claims and eventually moving toward permanent residency in this country.
