Karen joins TAC with over twenty-five years of corporate training/consulting experience. Post-secondary studies include: BEd. in Adult Education, Brock University and Certificate in Dispute Resolution, York University. She’s a member of The Toronto and Region Board of Trade and Mediators Beyond Borders.
Karen’s passion and expertise is in all things sales. Her biggest reward is to help people realize success beyond expectation. Karen’s philosophy about business development is that selling is a collaborative process, based in communication, with a win/win objective.
An entrepreneur, Karen successfully ran a training company and employment agency. She’s worked with a broad base of organizations in many sectors, government and institutions. Karen was part-time faculty at George Brown College. She’s managed numerous “training to employment” projects for immigrants, youth and marginalized individuals. Karen spent fifteen years training and consulting with new business start-ups. She’s also volunteered as a family mediator.
She also enjoys music, dancing, cooking, reading and “The Great Outdoors.” Her favourite places in the world are Algonquin Provincial Park and Point Pelee.
