Culture and Diversity in the Workplace

Friday, June 7th, 2013

The Achievement Centre and the London Cross Cultural Learner Centre are working in partnership with Western University on a research project concerning individuals’ experiences of culture and diversity in the workplace.

The goal of this research is to investigate factors related to cultural diversity in medium to large sized businesses in Ontario. The results of this research will be used to better understand how culture and diversity influence productivity, communication, and relationships in the workplace.

In learning more about how various types of industries deal with such issues, this research will provide approaches and materials that can be used to facilitate training within other organizations in Ontario and the rest of Canada.

We would greatly appreciate your help! We ask that you take part in this project by filling out an online survey. The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. The data gathered will remain anonymous and confidential. Online survey participants will be entered into a draw for one of four $50.00 credit card gift certificates.

Thank you very much in advance for your cooperation. Together, we can ensure that our workplaces become welcoming environments for diversity and encourage effective communication among our workforce.
