TAC attended the Salvation Army 2024 Kettle Campaign as a volunteer to raise money for needy families. The picture is of Marc Lacoursiere during his shift at Masonville Mall in London, Ontario.
In addition to providing meals and gifts, the Salvation Army provides the following services:
- Withdrawal management to people overcoming substance abuse.
- Emergency shelter accommodations for adults.
- A recovery community centre, also for those dealing with substance abuse.
- Financial assistance to low income people to support housing.
TAC coaches regularly donate their time to important causes in their communities. They serve on not-for-profit boards, organize fundraisers, volunteer with organizations in need, and are have history with clubs such as Rotary, Kiwanis, the Optimists, and more.
The 2024 Kettle Campaign was an excellent opportunity to support the community.
