The 2026 Optimist Trivia Event was an overwhelming success! Coach Joe led his Oakridge Optimist colleagues in hosting the club’s annual event. This year, the event embraced a Canadiana theme, with about 450 guests attending. Many teams wore Canadiana costumes with the winning team dressed as mosquitoes.
The annual event raises funds that the Oakridge Optimist Club uses to invest back into the community to support youth across a broad spectrum of activities.
Chartered in 1957, the Optimist Club of London – Oakridge Acres is one of eight Optimist Clubs in the city of London. Each club operates independently, but meet often to share information and partner in programs that benefit youth in London.
Coach Joe proudly emceed the 2026 Optimist Trivia Event. He wore a team Canada jersey with his number 23 on the back.
