Lance Sergeant (L/Sgt) Ken Ingram of 3BAM and a Coach at TAC visited Roselyn Elementary School in Westmount, Quebec on Nov 7, 2024 in honour of Remembrance Day.
Maybe the students lost no one in their family during WWII.
300 Students were in attendance for the one hour presentation to celebrate Remembrance Day. He shared some history and the work that the 2nd Field Battery of Artillery accomplished. Ken’s father was a volunteer at the age of 17 from Barbados and fought with the Royal Canadian Artillery.
For his service he received six medals:
- 1939/45 Star, Italy Star
- France Star & Germany Star
- Defense medal
- Canadian Service medal & clasp
Ken, as a volunteer with 3BAM is helping to keep history alive, so we continue to remember.
