Wellspring London is an admired local charity which supports families with a loved one battling cancer. Each year, they host a fundraiser called “Battle of the Bands.” The Wellspring 2026 event involved bands consisting of local business professionals. In its 26th year, the event raised over $117,000.
Coach Joe, joined by four of his closest music friends participated in the annual Battle of the Bands for Wellspring in London, on March 6th.
Joined by Rick Jankura, Chris Luty, Kris Dixon and Jamie Esliger, coach Joe O’Neill was on the drums. They call themselves “Hip Cheque,” a Tragically Hip tribute band. They played a clean set to an appreciative audience of 550 community minded music lovers at Wellspring 2026.
